Siyang Nie received his Ph. D in School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2021. Then, he joined Tsinghua University as postdoctoral fellow. Currently, Dr Nie has broad interests in high-entropy sub-nano materials, surface science and first-principle calculations of heterogeneous catalysis.

Personal statement:

Bilal Akram was born in Bagh AJ&K, Pakistan on November 20. He recieved his PhD degree from the department of Chemistry, Tsinghua university Beijing in 2020. His M.Sc & M.Phil degree is from department of Chemistry, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Muzaffarabad. He is currently a post-doctor researcher in Prof. Wang Xun's group, department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University. His current research focuses on Tuning the Size & Surface Chemistry of Nanomaterials for Applications in Catalysis & Environmental Sciences.

Junli Liu was born in Yantai, Shandong province in China. She received her Bachelor degree from college of chemistry and material science, Northwest University from 2011.09 to 2015.07. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in department of inorganic chemistry at Tsinghua University in 2020.
